Chuck and Vonnie will be here next Sunday, Oct 12th. So, we are going to have a potluck after the service. Everyone is welcome!
CHIC youth will be serving at Pizza Ranch on Mon. Oct. 20th
Notes
CHIC Orders will be taken after church for “Tastefully Simple” products with proceeds going to CHIC. Some “Tastefully Simple” samples will be available during the regular connections treats.
Neighborhood Service Center Food Shelf Day
Our church family has been asked to help put away donations at the N. S. C. on Saturday, Oct. 18th. Food will be collected by the Girl Scouts, and brought to the N. S. C. where it will need to be sorted and put on shelves.
We expect to be needed in mid-afternoon (2 or 3 pm ) that day. The success of the drive will determine when we are needed. The best we can do is judge from past years experience.
Please make a note of the event on your calendar, and plan to help if you possibly can. N. S. C Director, has described her time spent with our church family as "being in the presence of kings" -- in her native language. I for one, am honored and humbled by her words.

Friendship Place -Friendship Place is the new group home for eight adults with developmental disabilities located in Lino Lakes next to Rice Creek Covenant Church, 125 Ash Street (also known as Co Rd J or 85th). It is a part of the Covenant Enabling Residences. There will be a short dedication service at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday October 12th followed by the Open House until 5 p.m.
